How do I sign up now?

Go to the registration page and fill out the registration form. At the end of the registration process, please follow the payment instructions to pay using your VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, or Paypal account. Once we've received your registration information, we'll contact you to schedule your pre-camp evaluation.

If camp is cancelled, will we make it up?

Yes, If we have to cancel boot camp for any reason, that day(s) will carry over into the 5th week. We have one week off in between every 4 weeks of camp for things like this.

What is the Pre Camp Evaluation?

The Pre-Camp Evaluation includes the following:

  1. We will give you an introduction to Boot Camp and answer any questions you may have. We will also review your medical history.
  2. We will take a few simple measurements to see where you are prior to beginning camp. We don't care what the measurements show. It's strictly for a post-camp comparison. These numbers and all other information will be held in the strictest confidence.
  3. I will have you record your morning weight (on empty stomach) and report this to me before camp begins. Again, the numbers don't matter. We just want to be able to measure your improvement.
  4. Your Welcome Packet will be emailed to you after we have received your registration. 

I see that a particular camp just started!  I just found out about it. Can I still join?

If the camp session is not already full, then absolutely.  Many people are so excited about the boot camp program, they want to start right away and not wait for the next camp to begin.  This happens often, so chances are you aren't the only one joining at a certain point.  If you've already missed a substantial number of days, we can prorate the cost.  Just fill out the registration form, and let us know that you want to join the camp already in session.  We'll send an email invoice for the appropriate amount.  

If you find that the currently offered sessions are already full (which definitely happens), you may have to wait until the next camp begins (usually no more than 5 weeks). But don't wait to sign up - you don't want to be left behind again!

What do I need to bring to camp?

You will need to bring one pair of 5-8lb hand weights and any type of exercise mat. Running shoes are necessary. You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp and gloves for when we do bear crawls. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves or mittens in the winter. Dress in a layered fashion...even if it is chilly, you will get warm very fast!

What if I sign up for the three day plan and then want to do more days of the camp?

After starting camp, many women realize how fun and convenient it is so they request to sign up for more days. In addition, they realize that the more days they attend camp the greater the results. In these situations, you will simply be pro-rated from the point you decide to join us for more days.

If I choose the three-day plan, may I select which days I attend?

Yes. Many of our clients who choose the three-day program come on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, however, you may come any three days that work best for your schedule.

Can I make up my missed days in camp?

Yes, of course! If you are enrolled in the 3 day, you have 2 other days during the week & 8 during the session to make up any missed days. If you are enrolled in the 4 day, you have 1 other day during the week & 4 during the session to make up any missed days. You may also attend other boot camps (we usually have 2-3 more times available a day) as long as you let me know before joining in with another class. You may use your make up days however you like as long as they are done before the end of the session. Unused makeup days can not roll over into another camp.

Will I be sore sometimes?

Most people feel some heavy soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process that lets you improve!

What kinds of people go to camp?

They are people just like you. Someone who needs a little push to jump start their fitness and wellness program. We encourage all ability levels, shapes, sizes and ages. Fitness levels range from those who have never been in an exercise program to former health club owners and everyone in between. Candelon's Boot Camp is designed to help women from all walks of life including working moms, stay at home Mom's, business women, students, etc!

Is there a refund policy or prorating?

If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date however we will charge a $50.00 cancellation fee. If we are notified after your session begins, we will gladly give you a credit towards another boot camp. This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund. This is not negotiable.

If you come into camp after the designated start date, you can be pro-rated.

What is a typical day like at camp?

First, there are no typical days! Each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect short distance running, weight training, obstacle courses, core training, jumping roping, plyometrics, HIIT training, yoga, & Pilate type exercises each week. It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We also teach you a great deal about proper form, stretching and safety.

How soon will I see results?

Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It's common to see a camper go down 1-2 dresses sizes within the first camp. Remember, everyone is different! Your results will also depend on your effort, so be sure to give 100% to your coach and more importantly, to yourself!

Do you have a nutrition plan that you recommend?

Yes, all campers will receive my general nutrition guide (which includes recipes) before camp begins. You may also purchase a custom plan to suit the personal needs of you and your family more closely. What will I do after camp is over?

At a post-camp evaluation, you will get re-measured and tested to show your progress and success in the program. Many (up to 80%) of the campers return for a second camp and third camp.
